About WKEDC
The West Kelowna Economic Development Corporation is a municipal corporation wholly owned by the City of West Kelowna. It was created as one of Council’s strategic priorities, under the pillar Pursue Economic Growth and Prosperity.
Our mandate from the City is simple to say and takes a community to deliver: “to advance economic development strategies and to foster a vibrant, resilient, and prosperous community.”
Our first strategic plan, including our mission, vision and values, is being developed with the Board. Until then, the mandate and the objectives below guide our work.
